All is not lost! The NAACP Black History Brain Bowl Competition was OUTSTANDING. Students were from Dunbar High School, Cypress Lake High School, Island Coast High School, and Quality Life Center. QLC was the only middle school group; therefore they were automatic winners. The high school champions were Island Coast High School. This event was sponsored by the Youth Council of the NAACP. Mr. Fredrick D. Morgan II is the Youth Council Adviser. Youth Council members were also present. CONGRATULATIONS everyone for participating so well. The winners are also shown below. Notice the young men all dressed in shirts and tires! That's Island Coast High School! - Wrtten By: Dr. Shirley Maxine Chapman
